The Houston OCD Program offers 1-2 postdoctoral fellowships in intensive cognitive behavior therapy for OCD/Anxiety Disorders. We are currently accepting applications for the 2019 to 2020 training year.
This one-year, full time postdoctoral fellowship is part of an intensive specialty CBT-focused program that offers a full-continuum of care including residential, intensive outpatient and outpatient treatment. We specialize in treating severe and treatment refractory anxiety disorders, particularly OCD and other comorbid conditions. The postdoctoral fellow will serve as a primary CBT therapist by designing and implementing evidence-based treatment protocols for patients. Other responsibilities include leading and co-leading psycho-educational groups, participating in research activities (especially treatment/program outcome evaluation research), and supervising graduate psychology students and research assistants.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in clinical or counseling psychology; experience in the assessment and cognitive-behavioral treatment of anxiety; evidence of research productivity is a plus.
Start date: Flexible, but no later than first week of September of the training year.

Supervision: The primary supervisor is Emily Anderson, Ph.D. who will provide a minimum of one hour of weekly supervision. In addition the fellow will work with and receive supervision from a multidisciplinary team.
