Online/Virtual Partial Hospitalization Program

At the McLean OCD Institute //Houston, we offer a highly specialized Online Partial Hospitalization Program (O-PHP) for adults with moderate to severe anxiety disorders, OCD and related disorders. This program meets Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is offered 100% virtually through the zoom platform. Clients have the opportunity to interact with clients who are enrolled in our residential support program and other individuals who experience similar challenges; this built-in community is therapeutic and creates a motivating atmosphere for people in all stages of treatment.

Clients in our Online Partial Hospitalization Program work individually with a cognitive-behavior therapist for individual therapy and individualized behavior planning via zoom. Clients meet with their behavioral therapist 3 times per week, family therapist once per week and sessions from our team psychiatrist are offered. Groups include a variety of psycho-educational and active ERP groups led by our clinicians, and ERP blocks led by our residential counselors.

Treatment in the Online Partial Hospitalization Program is provided by our multi-disciplinary team comprised of behavioral therapists, our psychiatrist, our family therapist and our residential counselors. Residential counselors aid in treatment by following behavior plans (developed together with your individual behavioral therapist) to enhance outcomes for clients with anxiety, OCD and related disorders. Our staff is trained to balance compassionate care while implementing response prevention.

Individuals who may benefit from our Online Partial Hospitalization Program include:
  • Individuals with moderate to severe anxiety disorders, OCD or related disorders;
  • Individuals who have not made sufficient progress in traditional outpatient therapy;
  • Individuals who want to make more significant progress in a shorter period of time; and/or
  • Individuals who are looking for a step-down from a residential or an inpatient program

Our intensive programs are not appropriate for individuals who have active addictions, active eating disorders, and/or are actively suicidal. For these individuals, we recommend an inpatient setting. Admission into our online intensive outpatient programming must be approved, phone intakes are required. Please call 713-526-5055 to schedule your intake or click HERE.
