Residential Manager


Bianca Simmons is a Licensed Professional Counselor with training in Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy. She received her BA in Psychology and Spanish from Trinity University in San Antonio and her MA in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. She completed her graduate internship at The Women’s Home where she focused on the treatment of substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, and depression. In 2018, Bianca moved into her current role of Lead Residential Counselor at the McLean OCD Institute // Houston. As the residential manager, Bianca assists with hiring, training, and performance reviews, supervision of the RCs on staff; overseeing the provision of care to clients in both the Intensive Outpatient Program and the Residential Support Program. In addition to working with OCD and other anxiety related disorders, Bianca has clinical experience working with diverse populations, college counseling, and crisis interventions. Bianca also created and facilitates the monthly McLean OCD Institute // Houston alumni support group.
