At the McLean OCD Institute // Houston we are committed to providing a compassionate therapeutic environment while implementing evidence-based treatment to provide the most effective treatment outcomes. The McLean OCD Institute // Houston’s mission is to advance treatment and outcome research in the field of OCD, anxiety and related disorders. These findings demonstrate that our clients, in general, benefit greatly from receiving treatment in our treatment programs that are designed to fit their individual needs.

We specialize in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), particularly Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) in addition to other effective treatment techniques such as mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for anxiety, OCD and related disorders. 

Our program delivers individualized evidence-based treatment for individuals struggling with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Spectrum Disorders, phobias, and depression.  We offer three levels of care including residential support (for adults), intensive outpatient programs and outpatient services. 

Our Residential Support and Intensive Outpatient Program for adults utilize evidence based care through group and individual work in an intensive setting to help move patients closer to their goals in our compassionate therapeutic environment.  

Our Intensive Outpatient options for adolescents and children utilizes evidence-based care through individual intensive work in our compassionate therapeutic environment. 

The Outpatient Clinic at the McLean OCD Institute // Houston provides diagnostic and treatment consultations, and evidence-based individual CBT for children, adolescents, and adults.
