Rogelio Gonzalez, MA
Rogelio Gonzalez received his BA in Psychology from California State University Los Angeles and his MA in Experimental Psychology from California State University San Marcos. Rogelio is currently working on his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Houston, where he specializes in sleep and anxiety disorders in children and adolescents. Rogelio has presented his research findings at the annual conferences of several national organizations including the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, American Academy of Sleep Medicine and Sleep Research Society, and the Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine. Rogelio has also published his findings in peer-reviewed journals, such as Cognitive and Behavioral Practice, and has co-authored a book chapter focused on innovations in cognitive behavioral therapy for childhood anxiety, OCD, and PTSD. He has previously completed training at the Sleep and Anxiety Center of Houston and Texas Children’s Hospital – Center for Children and Women at Greenspoint, providing evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy for youth and adults from diverse backgrounds in both Spanish and English. In his free time, Rogelio enjoys trying new foods and restaurants, and watching FC Barcelona and the Los Angeles Lakers.
