Biography:
Karina Turner graduated from the The University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Philosophy and earned her Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from The University of Houston-Clear Lake. Karina works as both the research coordinator and residential counselor for the McLean OCD Institute // Houston. Karina has received training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy. Karina is passionate about increasing awareness and accessibility of evidence-based treatments. In her free time Karina enjoys trying new restaurants, hiking/camping, and reading.
