Residential Treatment Setting

The beautiful campus that Houston OCD Program is located on has two Mediterranean-style buildings, the brand new home and just renovated office building.

The main residential treatment center at the Houston OCD Program is located in a brand new Mediterranean-style two-story house. This nearly 6,000 square-foot home is adjacent to our Outpatient Center. It features comfortable and secure bedrooms with private bathrooms, a wheelchair accessible bathroom, spacious common living areas, a state-of-the-art kitchen, a library, laundry, and wireless internet access.

Adjacent to the main house that hosts our residential program is the Outpatient Clinic. The outpatient services are provided by our staff in a beautifully re-designed Mediterranean-style office building with ample parking for our clients

 

The program’s setting fosters an atmosphere for change, while maintaining a safe environment where patients and staff work collaboratively. The cognitive-behavior therapist and patient design the treatment plan together and staff supports the patient’s efforts to follow the behavior plan to maximize treatment effectiveness. The location of the clinic in a home-like setting, increases the opportunity to practice exposures in realistic situations and to build confidence in maintain treatment gains post discharge.
