Julia Najm is the research coordinator and the residential counselor at the Houston OCD program. She has worked in a variety of different research labs ranging from sleep and anxiety in children to Borderline Personality Disorder and social cognition in adolescents. Julia also worked with at-risk teens who suffer from suicidal self injury and anxiety. Her primary interests include suicidality, the role of the family in adolescence and how ERP effects executive functioning in adults with OCD. She wishes to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology after obtaining her bachelors of science at the University of Houston. She enjoys traveling, reading, writing, and cooking in her spare time.
